Commercial and industrial door opener

Steel-Line are now able to offer the GfA ELEKTROMATEN® range of operators for Industrial Roller Shutters, Grilles, Fold-Up Doors and Sectional Doors.

GfA have been producing drive and control systems for industrial doors at there plant in Germany since 1954. GfA now market more than 100,000 units a year under the ELEKTROMATEN® brand name.

Direct Drive Units

"Safedrive®" ELEKTROMATEN® SI are special drives for industrial doors which require an anti-fallback device. The patented safety brake is built into the gear. The drive unit is directly fitted to the door shaft, the door does not require springs for balancing.

Chain Drive Units

ELEKTROMATEN® KE are special drives for vindustrial doors. The door shaft is driven by a chain-transmission. Operators are available for balanced and non balanced doors. GfA recommeds the use of Safety Brakes for non-balanced, chain driven doors.

Sectional Drive Units

ELEKTROMATEN® SE are special drives for counterbalanced sectional doors (and Fold-Up doors). The drive unit is normally directly fitted to the door shaft.
